6D5N Taiwan Trip to Taipei, Tainan, Yilan and Beitou

I went on a 6-day, 5-night Taiwan trip, visiting Taipei, Tainan, Yilan, and Beitou. I enjoyed the hospitality of Silks Group hotels, indulged in gastronomic delights, and immersed myself in cultural experiences.

I went for a solo trip to Taiwan for 6 days 5 nights to experience some of the hotels by Silks Hotel Group.

It was a pretty tight schedule, but overall, a very fulfilling and educational trip. During the trip, I not only experienced the hospitality of the hotel but also enjoyed a cultural tour guided by the locals.

Weather In Taiwan During November

The weather in Taiwan during November was unexpectedly warm, and it kept raining. I brought some winter clothing, but summer wear would have been enough. But do take note of the night wind which can be very cold. Before my trip, there were a few news reports about typhoons, which was a bit unusual since typhoon season is typically in October. There were some typhoon updates during my stay, but luckily, I didn’t encounter any.

Flights to and fro

My flight there is via Singapore Airlines economy at Terminal 3, weight luggage allowance is 30kg.

My onboard lunch, cream fish pasta if I remember correctly.

On my way back, I flew with China Airlines since I was departing from Kaohsiung. The luggage allowance is only 23kg, with 7kg for one piece of hand-carry, so take note! I almost exceeded the weight limit but luckily managed to control my spending. Since I was traveling alone, it was a bit challenging to carry so many things back.

The sit space is similar to Singapore Airline economy.

The plane was a small one, with only two rows of three seats each. There was no TV at the seats, but you could scan a QR code with your phone to access the in-flight entertainment.

I had steam chicken with rice. The food is not too bad. The 2 packets of snacks is very delicious.
