For those who are working or staying around Bishan and LOVE bubble tea, you should NOT miss out this new bubble tea store ~ Bober Tea! It’s right at the MRT station!
If you don’t know what is Bubble tea (I hope not), Bubble tea (also known as pearl milk tea, bubble milk tea, boba tea, or simply boba) (Chinese: 波霸奶茶; pinyin: bōbà nǎichá, with tapioca balls. It is 珍珠奶茶; zhēnzhū nǎichá) a Taiwanese tea-based drink invented in Tainan and Taichung in the 1980s.
Being a half-Taiwanese, I definitely must try (as if this is very important LOL)!
About Bober Tea
Bober Tea is artisan tea, focused on providing affordable, high-quality and tasty blends of Tea with a gist of local flavour. The founder had found on his travels abroad, the various tastes of Taiwanese, Japanese and Chinese Bubble teas are vastly superior and has brought back the best of these countries to Singapore, the quality of overseas tea quality coupled with the fusion of high-grade bobas.
Not only is Bober tea inspiring good taste it is also caringly healthy for everyone as these bobas are homemade unlike artificial types from processed factories.

Honestly, no matter which bubble tea store I go to, I only know how to order Normal Bubble Milk Tea or Honey Green Tea with bubble. Since I have my close mommy friends gathering that day, I’ve asked the staff to recommend their top 6 drinks to me and my friends to try.
The staff preparing one of the drink. So interesting and making effort to blend the mocha. Really made with love. 😍
This is the highly recommended and Instagram worthy drink ~ Mocha Strawberry! So chio right!
Bober Tea founder loves aesthetically beautiful things, so they have unique round cup as well as Bober Tea’s Cute cartoon box for a purchase of 6 Drinks and above for takeaways.
So here are the 6 drinks recommended by me and my personal friends’ reviews!
Note: All drinks that are prepared here, do not have reduced sugar.
- Black Konjac Jelly Milk Tea $3.60 (500ml)
Reviews: Slightly sweet for Wendy’s liking, otherwise, she loves the jelly!
- Grapefruit Yakult $5.30 (500ml)
Reviews: Cafren drank this, she expected it to be sweet but it wasn’t, she gave 2 thumbs up for this one! Tempting me to go and order for myself to drink.
- Hazelnut Milk Tea $3.50 (500ml)
Reviews: Hubby drank this as we have one extra cup, for a guy who is not a milk tea or coffee lover, he quietly finished up all. So I assume should be not bad.
- Mocha Strawberry $4.90 (500ml)
Reviews: Shermain drank this pretty drink, but to her is also a bit sweet for her liking. All my friends are super health conscious haha.. maybe because she’s an (ex)nurse too!
- Salted Caramel $3.50 (500ml)
Reviews: This one specially ordered for myself because I super love anything with caramel. Haha.. I’m not a sweet tooth person, normally if I drink bubble tea I can go 0%-25% sugar only. Even though is quite sweet, but the fragrance of the tea is still strong!
- Supreme Fruit Burst Green Tea $7.90 (1000ml)
Reviews: This one specially dedicated to my hubby, who’s into gym workout and is weight conscious. The presentation (so is the taste) is so refreshing and colorful even the kids want to drink, but cannot leh, is green tea. For fruit lovers, this is a must try. They have orange, strawberry, passionfruits etc inside.
For those who are working or staying in Bishan, do try out their bubble tea, especially the Fruit tea and Creative series. Whether you’re buying for yourself or someone special, Bober Tea is the ultimate unique Teas, especially when it’s Party time, because is so Instagram worthy. 🤩
Do like and follow their Facebook and Instagram for more information and promotion about their Bubble Tea.
Disclaimer: Although I need moolah to keep my blog running, renewing my domain, paying my hosting blah blah. That is why I have right sidebar running ads to keep my blog alive. So anything I rave about is because I want to share something amazing with you – not because I was paid to say it. For this review, I receive no moolah, only 6 cups of bubbles teas to share with my friends. No matter what, I promise that anything I write here is my own (and my friends since they drink it too) honest opinion!
