The Hour Glass Tempus…

Hey!! Finally managed to update because tomorrow working at 8pm instead till 12mn for AMEX. Catch me in some clubbing areas! Hehe think I only go clubbing area for work ya.. seldom go with friends because I don’t like the environment.. I just love to chill and eat supper with my friends! 😛 So see who is the lucky one to catch me! Will update you guys where I’m going tmr.. 😛

Day 1 ~ The Hour Glass Tempus / with durian outing

First day of work.. not sure what i’m supposed to do, as we don’t have rehearsal, no product training, completely nothing, which I like! 😛 But we were told that there will be alot of rich ppl and tai tai around, so when talking, we have to maintain eye contact to the wife and not to focus too much on the hubby.. lolz.. and simple mingling around and modeling for the watches. Very excited!!

Once reach work place, was briefed by the lovely sales gal ~ Valerie. She told me the product information and some of the watches price.. which really sent me off flying.. the most expensive one in the whole exhibition is the Ice Floe diamond watch. Its 57 carat, cost S$1.9million.

Me and the other model ~ Racheal have the chance to wear the watch for camera shoot. Both of us fast took a quick picture of us wearing it before they put it back to the display. So the pics is not very well taken. (will try to find the real pics of the watch)

Although I’m not a diamond person, (ya i know diamond are girls’ best friends, but i like gems rather then diamonds) this art piece really make me keep on looking at it. Because of that, I asked the Sales Director of Harry Winston to tell me more about diamonds, gems and colour diamonds! After thism I begin to appreciate diamonds, but not to the extent of seeing diamonds and my eyes will *dazzle* kind. 😛

First day, is the most crowded, as many businessmen, tai tais, press, media etc came to each and every booth for interview and photoshoot. After standing for 7 hours, my legs ache alot.. luckily i brought flats along to change. 😛

Anyway, the event also provides food from the hotel. Hehe.. and the food is nice except for the first day because all curry and spicy food. End up I only eat plain rice with a few or long beans. -,-” Luckily that happens only the first day 😛 But its nice for the The Hour Glass management to provide for delicious food/fruits for us models and their stuff also!

After the event finish, went over to meet a new friend which is also Cailing bestie ~ Ev. Because today Tuck treating me eat durian!! Is actually my birthday treat, but because of his reservist so drag until now. Lionel and Yifei came over to fetch me and Ev to aljuned for the feast!

After durian feast, Tuck suggested to go somewhere again ~ 豆浆油条!! I was so tired!! But Lionel keep asking me to go, so I told him you send me home then I go lor.. 😛 Me very bad hor..

Day 2

The crowd is not as much as Day one, but today I get to wear watches from Harry Winstons! It costs $48 thousand dollars (including GST), its 4.6 carat plus sapphire. Nice!! Coz i love blue (and green too!).

Tuck dropped by to see me, coz he has meeting around the area. 🙂

2nd day feet still aching, but lucky the brand manager ~ Irin Gan, is very nice!! Yap she’s from mediacorp previously. 😀 So sometimes Racheal and me will take turn to go toilet to sit and rest our feet.

Day 3

Still happily enjoying the event till day 3! met a lot of ppl from different levels and different countries. One of the Senior staff ~ Thomas who is the branch Manager of Taka, will tell me the post/role of a particular client when they walked pass or when they visit out booth. He also tells me lots of stuff, which makes me think and i learnt a lot from him. He’s like a “dad” haha.. because whenever there is food or lunch/dinner is here, he will faster “chase” us to eat. 😛

Nothing much on day 3, Oh ya! happened to saw Dr KC today! At first both of us couldn’t remember where we saw each other, after much guessing etc, both of us shouted together and saw SGH WXX!! Haha.. Really very surprise to see him there. Immediately said I’m the blood sucker! Haha, because I always take blood for him when he’s busy or he didn’t manage to get it! Update each other life etc..exchange contact no. 🙂

Thanks to Melissa also, she came down personally on that day to collect gown from me and helped me to return it to Angelique. The gown that I wore during Miss World Finals. Accompany her for dinner after work. 😀

Day 4

Last 2 days of the Tempus event. 有一点不舍得。。Times really files very fast.. Already the 4th day of the event.

Saw another 2 doctor (can’t remember is day 4 or 5), both of them are twins, so easy to remember haha.. Chit chat for awhile and exchange nos again. 🙂

Almost few hours before our job ends, Michel ~ the son of the hour glass boss, invited us to the thank you dinner in another ballroom. So both Racheal and me stay at the booth and waited for Thomas, Valeria and Irin to pack up the stuff before heading. Irin brought some finger food for us, because earlier on they have cocktail for Harry Winston on the other side of the hall.

Glad that I went to the thank you dinner, lots of yummy food, International bosses and hour glass stuff is around. But I didn’t stay longer to mingle and enjoy the food because i was really very tired. Managed to have 2 glasses of red wine and small portion of food.

Day 5

Last day of event. Really enjoyed my day to the fullest! Especially Benny and Melissa came down and waited for me till i finish work. And not forgetting the photographers ~ Shawn, Ben, Augustine etc.. and also Huirong and Casses came after they finish their Game Show. Sorry for not being able to have dinner with you girls and guys! I wish too but got a date with Benny and Melissa.

Saw another friend of mine last day at the event! Took a pic with her. So happy to see her again after 1yr plus i think!

Last day of work, means last day of working with nice ppl ~ Thomas, Valeria, Mr Claude and Irin. Didn’t manage to take a pics with her.. sianz.. !! Of course the rest of the hour glass is also nice, especially the one who interview me and gave me the job! My partner Rachel, you will be seeing her photos soon ya!

After thank you and saying bye to everyone and taking group photos, Melissa and Benny went to have their dinner. After eating we shopped around and rest at mac to have my favourite hot fudge and fries too!

Thats all for today! Will continue after my sleep, although i really want to blog some more but I’m tired. Today was quite busy at ward. Assisted in a few procedures, but somehow didn’t feel much satisfaction. Maybe because I’m not fully in control like last time I used to work in SGH. Missed out alot of things like blood taking, dressing and some procedures which I love to do. Maybe like what Dr KC said, go and get another certificate for Pheblotomist. Do they have that? Got to check it out..
