minutesBought a lot of Strawberries, so I decided to make Strawberry madeleines for kids snacks. A very good way to clear strawberries. This is a reduced sugar recipe.

Ingredients
- Strawberry Puree
350 g 350 strawberries, chopped
1 tbsp 1 sugar
- Ingredients
250 g 250 all purpose plain flour
140 g 140 sugar
1 tsp 1 baking powder
4 4 eggs
2 tbsp 2 melted butter. (To coat the tray)
Directions
- Preheat the oven 200°C.
For ninja grill XL, Preheat at 180°C - Blend the chopped Strawberries with sugar. 10 secs / Speed 10. Removed from the mixing bowl and set aside.
- Clean the mixing bowl, put in butterfly whisk.
- Put in eggs, and sugar. 4 mins / Speed 4.
- Remove butterfly whisk. Add in flour, baking powder, strawberry puree and sugar. 10 secs / Speed 4
- Use the spatula, scrape down the sides of the mixing bowl. 10 secs /Speed 4.
Ensure its well mixed. - Brush the tray generously with butter.
- Use spoon or pastry bag and fill up the madeleines tray.
- Let it rest for about 10mins.
- Bake for 8-9 mins in oven, 7mins in Ninja Grill XL or when it's slightly golden brown at the side.
- Allow to cool before serving
Notes
- 1. For my recipe, it's highly recommended to use a bigger madeleines tray instead of the mini one like mine as show above. It took me about an hour to complete baking the mixture. -.-"
2. Because of strawberry high water content, it's recommended to finish it on the same day or keep refrigerated. Heat up before eating.
