Counting down

Just back from night shift.. The night is quite alright, except there is alot of call bells during the first parameter round. I wonder does Mount E. really charge patient for pressing call bell?? That is what I heard, but seems like the patient really having “fun” pressing the call bell :X

Actually after working in private hospital for quite awhile, I feel that no matter what status you are or how wealthy, once you fall sick, you are just like a normal person. We take care of you is because you are our patient, not because you are staying in a special room. Not to offend anyone but I really do meet quite alot of nice people too.

Maybe thats another reason why I prefer to work in “C” class ward (the other reason I don’t like is because of the air-con, I don’t like air-con). I find my previous ward environment is much more lively and happier then those patient living in the special ward. Thats why I always tell my friends and family actually staying in government hospital or “C” class ward (espcially those newly renovated) are not that bad as what people think off. Anyway its just my personal point of view. 😀

Ok not going to talk about this topic.. 😛 Some happy one ya! 😀

Attended Ivah’s wedding last friday at Marriott Hotel. It has been quite some time since I saw her, and now she’s happily and blissful marrige.

Ok I’m back.. I know I’m suppose to continue blogging yesterday night, but last min got to work night shift again, so rush down for work. Yesterday night work in Geneagles, my favorite ward, the paeds ward! 😀 First few hours was quite busy, lots of call bell, new admission, discharged and operation cases.. but lucky we manage to settle down after 2am… phew.. Tonight got to work the same ward again! Sister faster “book” me for tonight to work.

Oh ya suppose to blog about my giving out of condoms.. here it goes..

World AIDS Day ~ 1 Dec 2007 (red ribbon)

Today work for an event for WAD. We gals are suppose to give out tattoos and at the same time give out the condoms. The tattoo is a nice design with the word “Play Safe”. We can’t anyhow give the condoms like this, got to choose the target, no below 18yrs of age and parents who have kids with them. Tough ah.. Orchard was difficult coz there is a lot of family and teenage around but during the night at Clarke Quay was better, almost everyone who we gave took the freebies. 😀

Photos time! (More photos awaiting from Amber. :D)

The bag full of condoms.. The logo is also the tattoos design. Nice right! 😀

We finish the first shift around 4pm, Amber continue her work till 9pm. Su-ann and me will start another shift at 9pm which is at Clarke Quay. On my way home, saw this special movie promo, which is also my favourite actor ~ Andy Lau movie..

Me:, hi, Support World AIDS Day! (Giving the condoms) And interested to do the tattoo??

Sexy Gal & her angmo bf: No thanks, I have alot at home (refering to the condoms)

After that Merlene and me go wooooo… ok… 😛

2. 1 is not enough, 3 is best

Me: Hi Uncle, supoort World AIDS Day! (Giving the condoms)

Uncle: Ok give me one..

Me: Ok.. (hand him one)

Uncle: Not enough, one more

Me: Oh okok..

Uncle: Give one more lei, I one night can do 3 times!!
(the wife “beat” him)

Me: o_O!” oh okok (hand him another one)

After that merlene and I laugh until stomachache…

… Forget some of them already.. but above 2 is enough to make you laugh right.. hehe..

On Siblings Rivalry and 6 Personal Solutions.

I would say siblings rivalry is the most challenging aspect. Even when I try not to take sides, one party will feel it’s unfair. This really requires a lot of patience and explanation of everyone’s point of view.
