Baby-led weaning is about letting your child self feed finger food from the start of weaning. This term is coined by Gill Rapley, a former UK health visitor who also co-wrote the best selling weaning book ” Baby-led Weaning: Helping Your Baby to Love Good Food”.

It is not a facebook support group, but definitely worth mentioning. DADs for Life was launched on 19 November 2009 in conjunction with International Men’s Day, with a mission to inspire, mobilize and involve fathers to become good influencers in their children’s lives for life. Since then, it has grown from into a national movement engaging over 250,000 families each year with initiatives such as Eat with Your Family Day, Back to School with Dad and Celebrating Fathers.
